Role Overview:
We are looking for a Head of Procurement, to join our growing and expanding finance team. This role will own governance and strategic sourcing across all enterprise third-party spend, driving measurable cost savings and cost avoidance while strengthening financial planning rigor.
This is a highly cross-functional, individual contributor role requiring strong executive presence, stakeholder influence, and hands-on execution. You will design and embed procurement processes, implement automation, improve purchasing workflows, and serve as a strategic partner to Finance and business leaders.
Success will be measured through clearly defined financial and operational KPIs tied directly to savings, spend visibility, vendor consolidation, and budgeting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Spend Strategy & Governance
- Develop and execute Arcadia’s enterprise-wide procurement strategy aligned with financial and operational goals.
- Own governance over all third-party spend across the organization.
- Establish procurement policies, sourcing standards, and intake processes.
- Drive vendor consolidation and rationalization strategies to reduce fragmentation and optimize spend.
Financial Partnership & Planning
- Partner directly with Finance to support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Deliver measurable cost savings and cost avoidance, with clear tracking and reporting.
- Build total cost of ownership (TCO) models to support business case decisions.
- Improve spend visibility and discipline across departments.
Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management
- Lead end-to-end sourcing: supplier evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and renewal optimization.
- Drive strategic sourcing across IT, software, cloud, data services, and professional services.
- Establish supplier segmentation and performance management frameworks.
- Strengthen key vendor relationships while ensuring commercial rigor.
Procurement Systems & Process Automation
- Design and implement scalable procurement processes and workflows.
- Drive procurement automation leveraging existing systems (NetSuite, Jira, LinkSquares) and evaluate additional tooling as needed.
- Improve procure-to-pay (P2P) efficiency and intake-to-contract cycle times.
- Lead change management efforts to embed procurement practices across the organization.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
- Build strong partnerships across Finance, IT, Legal, Security, Operations, and business teams.
- Serve as project lead for major sourcing initiatives and vendor transitions.
- Influence stakeholders through data-driven insights and structured negotiation strategy.
- Act as a strategic advisor on build vs. buy decisions and vendor selection strategy.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Procurement or related field
- 8+ years in procurement or sourcing, ideally in HealthTech, MedTech, or IT.
- Experience building or transforming a procurement function in a scaling organization.
- Experience building or formalizing a procurement function in a scaling organization.
- Demonstrated success managing enterprise-wide spend.
- Proven track record delivering measurable cost savings and cost avoidance.
- Experience supporting budgeting and financial planning processes.
- Strong negotiation, financial modelling, and commercial analysis skills.
- Experience driving procurement automation and process design improvements.
- Exceptional cross-functional relationship-building and project management capabilities.
- Highly proactive, data-driven, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments.
