Head of Outbound Logistics and Facilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the strategic leadership and governance of supply chain outbound with full responsibility for the management of facilities and warehouse operations.
• Support the management of health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring all facility operations remain compliant with regulations.
• Oversee the development and execution of inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels, accuracy, and efficiency across warehouse operations.
• Manage and oversee the maintenance and upkeep of commercial vehicles, ensuring the fleet operates reliably and efficiently.
• Lead and develop diverse teams, including supervisors, office staff, and warehouse personnel.
• Partner with senior leadership to evaluate and drive strategic business development initiatives.

The Requirements:

• 10+ years in supply chain, warehouse, and inventory management in regional organisations.
• At least 1 year experience in an executive position.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with experience managing large staff compliment.
• Knowledge of health, safety, security and environmental standards and procedures.
• Experience in process improvement, inventory control, and multi-site operations.
• Experience across multiple industries, must include experience in pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven analytical skills to optimize inventory and improve supply chain performance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and various computerized systems integral to supply chain and distribution management.
