HEAD OF MARKETING
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of the brand both locally and overseas and across multiple channels. This includes developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing budgets, and leading a team to achieve business objectives related to brand awareness, customer acquisition and revenue growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Strategic Market Leadership: Create and execute the overall marketing strategy, lead annual marketing planning process, analyze market trends, including setting goals, identifying target audiences, and developing marketing plans.
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Brand Management: Oversee brand positioning, ensuring consistent brand messaging and identity across all marketing channels in the Jamaican and overseas markets.
- Digital Marketing and E-commerce: Oversee digital marketing strategy including website, mobile app, social media and email marketing.
- Campaign Management: Oversee the development and execution of digital and traditional marketing campaigns, across TV, radio, print, outdoor media, mobile and online platforms.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Analytics & Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to measure campaign effectiveness, present marketing performance reports, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the executive team, other departments, such as sales, product development, and customer service, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Innovation: Staying up to date on the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s Degree in Marketing
- Minimum 6 years in a similar role
- Certification and/or experience in digital marketing
- Proficiency in marketing analytic tools (Google, and Adobe etc.)
- Knowledge of social media management tools and digital advertising platforms
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership Skills
- Budget management experience
