About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this senior leadership role will provide you with the opportunity to:

• Play a pivotal role in driving the people agenda and supporting our ambitious growth plans 
• Work collaboratively with the executive team & council; contributing to strategy discussions and turning strategic priorities into executable operational plans
• Lead your business area on Employee Engagement, Change Management, Culture Management, Succession Planning, Learning & Development
• Shape our culture and make us the employer of choice
• Oversee the execution of our HRIS, whilst ensuring all of their HR processes are effective and in line with the company’s longer-term growth plans.

We are looking for someone who possess:

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Strong business acumen skills and understanding to allow appropriate partnerships
• Ability to maximize relationships, build trust, and communicate effectively is required to analyze people issues and provide information, direction and advice
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Qualifications & Experience 

• Possesses a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or any equivalent
• Has minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Solid understanding of the Labour Laws of Jamaica and best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications
