The Head, People and Strategy

The Head, People and Strategy requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship management skills to drive business outcomes through a people focused framework. The role will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies relating to the management and development of talent, employee experience and culture, internal communications, as well as HR research and innovation for the NCBJ Group. The ideal candidate will develop and execute the human capital strategy for the enterprise through the pursuit of HR strategies which are congruent with business goals.

 

Core Functions:                     

  • Strategic HR Leadership – Align HR strategies with business objectives and implement strategies that will drive impact and support the business in order to achieve optimal enterprise performance.
  • Talent Management and Development – Drive the workforce and talent agenda to attract and retain high performing talent for the Group.  Display the ability to remain on top of trends and capabilities required to execute efficiently and effectively. 
  • Business Partnerships – Collaborate with the business lines and support areas  to enhance relationships and ensure established policies, procedures and processes relating to the practice of Human Resource Development are consistently followed in accordance with Jamaican labour laws and regulations.
  • Workforce Planning and Analytics - Utilize people data to identify current and future workforce needs and establish clear guidelines and key HR policies and practices to future proof the organization. 
  • Reporting Relationship: The Head, People Strategy reports to the Vice President of the Group Human Resources Division.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post graduate Degree in Human Resource Development or related field
  • Minimum of seven (7) years work experience in HR leadership roles, with a strong track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
