Job Summary:

The Head Butler is responsible for overseeing the butler team to ensure the delivery of personalized, high-quality service to VIP guests and suites. This role focuses on managing daily operations, training butlers, and maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction in line with Royalton Blue Waters' luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Service Excellence:

  • Lead by example in providing exceptional, personalized service to VIP guests.
  • Anticipate guest needs and ensure all requests are handled promptly and professionally.
  • Build strong relationships with guests, ensuring their stay exceeds expectations.

 

2. Team Management & Leadership:

  • Supervise, train, and mentor the butler team to uphold service excellence.
  • Develop work schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate service standards and updates.

 

3. Operational Oversight:

  • Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, F&B, Front Desk) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Manage VIP guest arrivals, departures, and special requests, ensuring all preferences are met.
  • Handle guest complaints or service issues efficiently, aiming for immediate resolution.

 

4. Training & Development:

 

  • Implement continuous training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the butler team.
  • Provide coaching on luxury service standards, etiquette, and personalized guest care.

 

5. Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of guest preferences, service logs, and butler assignments.
  • Prepare reports on team performance, guest feedback, and service improvements.
  • Assist in managing inventory for butler amenities and supplies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a luxury hospitality environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Formal training in luxury service, etiquette, or related disciplines.
  • Experience working in 5-star resorts or luxury hotels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and support the Diamond Club butler team in delivering world-class service to VIP guests.

2. Coordinate daily task assignments, room preparations, and guest service schedules.

3. Ensure butlers follow Diamond Club protocols, standards, and guest preference profiles.

4. Assist in onboarding, training, and coaching butlers on etiquette and service standards.

5. Work closely with the Head Butler and Diamond Club Manager to manage guest feedback and implement improvements.

6. Handle guest requests, special arrangements, and complaints with professionalism.

7. Monitor inventory of guest amenities and ensure readiness for all arrivals. 

8. Conduct routine inspections of guest suites and public Diamond Club areas.

Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years in luxury hospitality, with experience in butler or VIP guest services.

Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

Excellent communication, leadership, and guest service skills.

Discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and lead a team in a high-pressure environment. 

Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
