The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of all HVAC and refrigeration systems within Millennium Investments Ltd.

Role Overview:

The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of all HVAC and refrigeration systems within Millennium Investments Ltd. This role ensures guest comfort, energy efficiency, safety, and compliance with environmental standards. The HVAC Supervisor manages preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and responds promptly to equipment issues to uphold the resort's operational excellence.

 

Main Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the safe and efficient operation of HVAC systems including central chilled water plants, boilers, cooling towers, air handling units, fan coil units, ventilation systems, split and VRF air conditioning, walk-in refrigeration, and food safety refrigeration equipment.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and control faults, leading emergency response efforts to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, equipment history, and prepare monthly reports. Assist in budgeting for repairs, parts, and capital projects.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and warranty work, maintaining an adequate inventory of spare parts.
  • Maintain proper documentation of refrigerant usage and leak detection, ensuring environmental compliance.
  • Lead safety initiatives, including refrigerant leak detection, boiler inspections, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, refrigerant handling standards, and safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols.
  • Supervise HVAC technicians and maintenance staff, assigning daily work orders, providing training, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules, including routine inspections, performance logging, and water treatment standards.



Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical diploma or degree in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Boiler operator certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations, and building management systems.
  • Strong team leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in HVAC system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with specific expertise in chilled water plants and VRF systems.
  • HVAC trade certification and refrigerant handling certification (EPD or equivalent).



Desired Qualities:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of HVAC experience, preferably within hospitality or large commercial facilities.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop a team.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Flexible availability for on-call and emergency response situations.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, working in confined spaces, mechanical rooms, and on rooftops.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in a guest-focused environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with knowledge of BMS and HVAC controls.
