The TCM Group is seeking a knowledgeable, professional, detail oriented individual.
Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants.
Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
Allocate human resources, ensuring appropriate matches between personnel.
Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
Advise managers on organizational policy matters and recommend needed changes.
Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
Coordinate new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labour relations, and employee relations.
Plan, organize, direct, control or coordinate the personnel, training, or labour relations activities of the organization.
Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Maintain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.
REQUIRMENTS:
At least 3 years’ experience in Human Resource Management
Must have Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
Must have excellent people skills
Must have excellent relationship building skills
Must have a thorough understanding of Jamaica Labour laws
