Job Summary:


Provide administrative and operational support in employee leave management, attendance tracking, punctuality, health claims processing, and reporting. Ensure accurate records, timely reports, and compliance with company policies. Support general HR functions and help drive departmental goals and initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the administration of the Performance Management System.
  • Manage and maintain accurate employee leave, attendance, and punctuality records.
  • Generate and distribute monthly and annual reports; highlight attendance issues and coordinate with departments on disciplinary actions.
  • Process Group Health Plan claims and liaise with health agents for timely submissions.
  • Oversee updates to employee data in HR software
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including reference checks and applicant tracking.
  • Draft various pieces of correspondence and respond to unsolicited applications.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR Department
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

General Qualifications, Experience and Technical Knowledge

Education

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resource Management/Social Sciences/ or Professional Certification in Human Resource Management
  • 5 GCE O’ Level or CXC/CSEC passes including Mathematics and English Language
  • Pursuing a recognized degree in HR Management; Industrial Relations or other Business Administration programme would be an asset

Experience

  • At least five (5) years working experience in an HR environment

Technical Knowledge

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Access Database and Spreadsheet
  • Proficient in HR Software
  • Knowledge of the IRA and other related laws directly impacting Human Resource Management
