About the Role:

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with department heads to align HR strategies with business objectives, champion employee experience, and ensure compliance with labour laws and company values. The ideal candidate will lead key areas including policy development, benefits administration, records management, performance management, and health and safety.

Key Functions

  • Review, develop, and implement HR policies and procedures that reflect company values and drive service excellence.
  • Lead end-to-end Benefits Administration, ensuring accurate, timely processing of all employee benefits.
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.
  • Oversee the Leave Management System, ensuring efficient tracking, reporting, and vacation planning.
  • Maintain a legally compliant disciplinary framework, including clear policies and manager guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate and secure management of all HR records, both digital and physical.
  • Support a robust Occupational Health & Safety Programme through risk identification, training, and reporting.
  • Manage all offboarding processes with professionalism, care, and compliance; provide insights through exit reporting.
  • Monitor HR performance metrics and recommend solutions to close performance gaps.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation and maintenance of HR Information Systems (HRMIS).
  • Support Performance Management processes, translating data into insights for development and rewards.
  • Help embed the company’s core values into daily operations, fostering a values-driven culture.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR Operations team focused on service, accountability, and results.

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in management studies or any equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role designing and implementing HR Operational Management initiatives & programmes to deliver business results
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and disciplinary frameworks, ensuring legal compliance and fairness
  • Proficiency in Jamaican labour laws, industrial relations, and regulatory frameworks
  • Knowledge of HR systems and technologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications
