HR Officer – People Experience

Job Summary

The HR Officer – People Experience is responsible for supporting and enhancing the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. This role focuses on initiatives that promote employee engagement, well-being, and a positive organizational culture, ensuring alignment with the company’s HR strategy and values. This position also plays a key role in supporting the department’s daily activities to ensure that the needs of all Security Officers are met and the department’s and Company’s standards are consistently maintained.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support programs that foster employee engagement, satisfaction, and recognition within the Guardsman Group.

• Coordinate employee surveys and feedback initiatives; analyze results and recommend improvements.

• Assist in planning and executing employee events, team-building activities, and wellness programs.

• Support the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the company.

• Assist in developing onboarding materials, schedules, and welcome programs.

• Serve as a point of contact for employee queries related to policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.

• Support communication of HR initiatives, updates, and policies across the organization.

• Assist in managing employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution in line with company policies.

• Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and documentation.

• Generate reports on engagement, turnover, retention, and other HR metrics as required.

• Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs.

• Identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and HR processes.

• Support HR projects and initiatives that drive a positive organizational culture.

• Perform other related tasks within the scope of the function.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration; or equivalent combination of experience and education

• Training in Human Resource Management or related disciplines

• 2–4 years’ experience in HR, preferably in employee experience, engagement, or HR administration

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and HRIS systems

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Demonstrated skills in accurate record keeping

Other Requirements:

• Ownership of a reliable motor vehicle

• Must be able to travel out of parish and stay overnight as required
