The HR Assistant supports the administration and operations of the Human Resource Department and liaises with internal and external stakeholders.

JOB DUTIES

1         HROperations

  • Assists in the maintenance of file register, employee records and filing system in compliance with Departmentstandards.
  • Preparation of documents (such as letters, memoranda, minutes, and spreadsheets) and reports, as required.
  • Receives,records,sortsandroutesincomingandoutgoingcorrespondenceandotherdocuments.
  • Providesadministrativesupporttotherecruitmentfunction(preparationofrequisitionforms, recruitment and onboarding packages, bookings etc.), as required.
  • AddressesqueriesandprovidessolutionsandcustomerservicetoInternalandexternalcustomers.
  • Assistingwithconductingscreeningsandreferencechecksrelatedtorecruitment.
  • Performingotherofficedutiesasassigned.

2         Payroll

  • Provides administrative supportin the completion of Payroll cycles (Weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly) withinestablisheddeadlines.
  • Preparationofdocuments(suchaslettersandmemoranda)andreports,asrequired.
  • Completesthedigitalarchivingofallpayrolldocumentation.

3        SystemAdministration

  • Provides administrative support in the maintenance of employee data and recordson management information systems and learning management systems.
  • Preparation of documents (such as letters, memoranda, minutes, and spreadsheets) and reports, as required.

4        HRProjects

  • Provides support the department in the execution of employee engagement activities and assigned projects and ensures adherence to department timelines.

 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

  • UndergraduatedegreeinBusinessManagement,HumanResources,SocialSciencesorarelateddiscipline.
  • ProficiencywithMicrosoftOfficeSuiteisconsideredanasset.
  • Atleastoneyearofrelevantworkexperience.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • MaintainpositiverapportwithInternalandexternalstakeholders.
  • Self-motivated,focusedandgoal-oriented.
  • Proficientintime management.
  • Excellentatcommunication,interpersonalskills,teambuildingandcollaboration.
