Our client in the Chemical Manufacturing and Energy/Petrochemical sectors, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Analyst for a one-year contract opportunity.

The successful candidate will support the Human Resources function through data analysis, HR systems management, process improvement, reporting, and operational support across the employee lifecycle.

The HR Analyst will work closely with HR team members and key stakeholders to optimise HR processes, support data-driven decision-making, and enhance overall HR service delivery.

Salary : Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

HRIS, Digital Platforms & Training

  • Maintain, optimise, and support the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and other HR digital platforms.
  • Lead HRIS and HR digital projects, including planning, implementation, post-implementation evaluation, and strategic enhancements.
  • Manage budgets related to HRIS systems, software licenses, and consultancy services.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, resolve data discrepancies, and recommend process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain HRIS policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
  • Generate and analyse HR reports, dashboards, and workforce data to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors on system enhancements and integrations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR data collection, analytics, reporting, and process efficiency.
  • Develop user manuals, guides, and documentation for HR systems and digital tools.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees and HR team members.
  • Design surveys, quizzes, and engagement tools to support HR initiatives.

HR Support & Customer Service

  • Provide administrative, operational, and analytical support across core HR functions.
  • Respond to system-related inquiries and provide technical support to users.
  • Recommend innovative solutions and process improvements to enhance HR service delivery.
  • Assist with HR research, policy updates, programme implementation, and regulatory reporting.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation in compliance with company policies and legislation.

HR Analytics & Workforce Insights

  • Analyse HR data to identify trends in turnover, absenteeism, performance, and workforce metrics.
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for HR leadership.
  • Support workforce planning, talent management, and organisational development initiatives.
  • Ensure HR data accuracy and compliance for internal and external reporting requirements.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in HRIS, Information Systems, or HR Analytics roles.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Sound knowledge of HR practices, policies, and legislation.
  • Ability to conduct research, analyse data, and provide actionable insights.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Strong numeracy and data analysis capabilities.
