As Group Sales & Events Manager, you are responsible for driving group and event business while ensuring every program is thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed.

How You’ll Operate
You’ll work closely with the Commercial Director, with regular dialogue around priorities, opportunities, and challenges. Collaboration is key success in this role depends on strong partnerships with sales peers and seamless alignment with operations, culinary, and guest experience teams.
This is a hands-on role that requires follow-through, accountability, and a calm, confident presence.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Driving Sales & Building Relationships
- Proactively generating and converting group and event business within your assigned market.
- Taking full responsibility for all assigned leads, ensuring consistent follow-up and thoughtful progression from inquiry through confirmation.
- Cultivating long-term relationships with clients, travel partners, and planners, while expanding our network through targeted outreach.
- Identifying opportunities with future potential and developing tailored approaches to secure repeat and referral business.
- Presenting Silversands Grenada in a compelling and authentic way, aligning our offerings with each client’s goals and vision.
- Representing the resort at industry events, sales missions, and hosted experiences.
- Using CRM tools and sales systems to track activity, manage pipelines, and maintain accurate records.
Contracts, Planning & Event Oversight
- Leading contract discussions and negotiations in line with resort guidelines and revenue objectives.
- Ensuring contractual details are clearly communicated and smoothly transitioned into planning and execution.
- Managing all on-property group events, site inspections, and familiarization visits.
- Coordinating event logistics and set-ups in partnership with operations and culinary teams.
- Designing and delivering memorable occasions that feel personal, seamless, and distinctly Silversands.
- Developing and refreshing event and offerings to remain relevant, creative, and commercially sound.
Service, Collaboration & Leadership
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients, offering guidance, reassurance, and solutions throughout the planning process.
- Communicating clearly and proactively with internal teams to ensure expectations are aligned and delivered.
- Supporting colleagues and operations teams as needed to ensure overall success.
- Participating in required departmental and hotel meetings.
- Remaining attentive to safety standards and reporting concerns promptly.
- Taking on additional responsibilities as needed in support of the business.
Commercial Accountability
- Ensuring proposals and pricing decisions support the financial objectives of the resort.
- Delivering against established room night, event, and revenue goals.
- Contributing insights related to demand patterns, market shifts, and client behavior to support forecasting and planning.

Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in arts, Science, Business, or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience within a luxury resort or hospitality environment
