The Mango Bay Group of Companies is looking for a customer - focused, detail-oriented Group Reservations Sales Agent to be the first point of contact for our guests. If you have excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and experience with booking systems, we’d love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage all reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms in a timely and professional manner.
- Accurately input guest bookings into the reservation system and confirm details with clients.
- Provide information about room types, availability, rates, and hotel amenities.
- Upsell rooms and packages to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Coordinate with front desk and operations teams to ensure seamless guest arrivals and special requests.
- Maintain updated records of bookings, cancellations, and no-shows for reporting and forecasting.
Qualifications & skills:
- One (1) year of experience in a related field or similar level of responsibility.
- Proficiency in reservation systems (TravelClick/RoomMaster and WedRezpro or similar), Microsoft Office, and general computer literacy.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
