The Group Operations Administrator generates and publishes consistent reports and insights about the performance of the group in various areas of operation.

Group Operations Administrator

The Administrator assists the Operations Team in executing operational tasks for the group – Facilities/Locations, Logistics, Motor Vehicles, and Projects. The Group Operations Administrator reviews business performance data that runs through the organization's various information systems, enabling the Group Operations Manager and other Senior Managers to take appropriate action to improve performance and develop strategies based on trends.   

Key Activities and Duties: 

  • Assist the Operations Manager and the Team to execute day-to-day operational activities.
  • Communicate and complete jobs with vendors on operational actions – getting quotes, seeking approval, preparing purchase orders.
  • Assist in operational contracts and paperwork. e.g.,  Accident Reports, Insurance Claims, Facility, etc.
  • Acquire data from systems and sources as requested and review data and sources to ensure accuracy.
  • Generate and deliver reports based on standard formats, based on required daily, monthly, and quarterly schedules.
  • Create and generate new ways to support improved information and insights.
  • Identify trends, variances, and insights that are significant for action.
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy of all reports published.
  • Operate in alignment with agreed team values and operating procedures.
  • Engagement in training & development programmes on own initiative, and those prescribed by the organization.
  • Research and report on the most recent best practices in support of the organization
  • Attend required meetings, events, and activities.
  • Assist HR Dept & Marketing Dept in the coordination of Company Events – Ex. Quarterly Staff Awards, Decoration of Showrooms, Christmas Party.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1st Degree in Business.
  • Tertiary level education relevant to the role at a recognized learning institution.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related role.
  • High competence in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience and ability to perform key activities and duties.
