To effectively fulfil all Audit and Compliance Related functions within the Group of Companies. To ensure adherence with all relevant internal and external requirements.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • To develop and maintain an effective and comprehensive filing system and document registry to satisfy the storage and retrieval of all files, records and correspondence related to audit and compliance-related exercises and matters.
  • Responsible for the effective and timely development of audit schedules for the conducting of internal audits.
  • Responsible and accountable for the preparation of audit files, records, and reports following the conduct of audits, compliance monitoring, and verification exercises.
  • To remain up-to-date and fluent with the appropriate legislation and best practices associated with the effective discharging of duties within the disciplines of audit and compliance.
  • To develop risk-based audit plans to monitor financial, and operational controls.
  • To engage in effective, and efficient compliance monitoring across the various entities within the group.
  • To proactively identify gaps within existing financial and operational systems including but not limited to procedures and processes.
  • To assist with the conducting of internal investigations either independently or as a part of a team.  
  • To provide sensitization and training around the conducting of internal investigations, audits, and compliance monitoring functions on demand.
  • To support as required external audit exercises as required.
  • To assist in the development and roll-out of Internal management systems, policies and procedures including but not limited to financial, administrative, risk, compliance, and operations.
  • To generate reports on demand.
  • To perform tasks related to general housekeeping of assigned work areas.
  • To adhere to all policies and management system (MS) guidelines.
  • To execute all and any additional duties assigned by Management that will facilitate the furtherance of this job description.
  • To assist, as needed, in the development of all Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality (HSEQ), and Operational Management Systems (MS’s).
