Job Summary

This role will be responsible for managing and securing the IT infrastructure across a group of companies, ensuring robust cybersecurity postures and enabling secure business continuity. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities 

  1. Designing, implementing and maintaining secure, scalable network architectures across multiple companies.
  2. Administering routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs across sites and cloud infrastructure.
  3. Overseeing LAN/WAN operations and ensuring high availability and performance.
  4. Leading cybersecurity strategy and execution including monitoring, detection, prevention and remediation.
  5. Conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and regular security audits.
  6. Implementing and maintaining network segmentation, IDS/IPS, endpoint security and access controls.
  7. Managing security incidents, conducting forensic investigations and coordinating recovery processes.
  8. Developing and maintaining incident response plans and participating in post-mortem reviews.
  9. Working with development teams to integrate secure coding practices and application security testing.
  10. Monitoring server and OS configurations (Windows, Linux, macOS) to ensure hardening and compliance.
  11. Assessing risks and implementing mitigation strategies aligned with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  12. Maintaining documentation for audits and supporting policy development.

Position Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an ICT Network Infrastructure and Cybersecurity environment
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+ or equivalent preferred
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems and VPN technologies
  • Proficiency in Windows, Linux and optionally macOS environments
  • Hands-on experience with network security tools, SIEM solutions and vulnerability scanners
  • Application security experience will be an asset
  • Proven track record of delivering in time pressured environments
  • Excellent communication and Relationship building skills
  • Self-starter with strong self-management skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
