The Mango Bay Group is currently seeking a highly organized and motivated Group Assistant Revenue Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the Group Revenue Manager and ensuring smooth operations across multiple properties. You will play a key part in maximizing occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Group Revenue Manager in supervising reservation staff and daily booking activities.
- Train reservation staff as needed.
- Ensure smooth functioning of reservation systems and processes.
- Handle guest inquiries and bookings with professionalism and accuracy.
- Support the Group Revenue Manager in monitoring occupancy, rates, and availability.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, and Marketing teams to maximize revenue.
- Ensure billing accounts are set up correctly in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor room availability and adjust strategies to optimize performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and guest satisfaction standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A diploma or degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not always mandatory.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in reservations/front office.
- Proficiency in reservation systems (TravelClick/RoomMaster and WedRezpro or similar), Microsoft Office, and general computer literacy.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Strong supervisory skills with an eye for detail.
- Understanding of sales techniques and yield management to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Flexibility to work varied hours
