We are seeking a creative Graphic Artist to design marketing and operational materials, including menus, packaging, and digital content. Must have 2+ years’ experience, Adobe Creative Suite skills, and a strong portfolio. Ability to manage multiple projects required.

REPORTING AND ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Liaise internally: Marketing Department, Operations, Product Development, Human Resources
Liaise externally: Print Vendors, Production Suppliers


CORE FUNCTION

Responsible for the design, development, and execution of high-quality visual content to support marketing initiatives, operational needs, and internal communications, while ensuring brand consistency across all business units.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Design and produce marketing materials including menus, promotional signage, packaging, flyers, and social media graphics.
  • Create visual assets to support manufacturing operations, including product labels, safety signage, instructional diagrams, and facility branding.
  • Maintain and ensure consistency of brand identity across all internal and external communications.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Product Development teams to conceptualize and execute design campaigns.
  • Develop digital content for websites, email campaigns, digital menu boards, and social media platforms.
  • Prepare print-ready artwork and coordinate with vendors to ensure high-quality production output.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet established deadlines.
  • Support internal communications through the design of presentations, newsletters, and employee materials.
  • Ensure all designs align with company standards, regulatory requirements, and brand guidelines.
  • Perform any other related duties assigned.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating both print and digital design work.
  • A current Food Handler’s Permit.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Sound knowledge of typography, colour theory, and layout principles.
  • Strong creativity and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in digital design tools such as Canva or Figma would be an asset.
  • Basic knowledge of video editing or motion graphics would be an asset.
  • Experience with large-format and signage printing would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of brand management systems would be an asset.
  • High level of professionalism, initiative, and dependability.
