This role requires the incumbent to assist with the coordination and execution of all design and graphics work for the Presto and Mpharmacy brands.

JOB DUTIES

Image Production/Management:

  • Creates graphic designs for all marketing material that relates to the relevant company’s brands, including but not limited to Mpharmacy and Presto.
  • Assists with the development of POP materials and signage required for Store information, specials, and seasonal activities.
  • Ensures that internal and external advertising materials are created and provided as per the requests of the respective Marketing teams as well as other departments.
  • Serves as primary liaison with merchandising and Store Operations teams to process and execute requests for advertising elements and in-store signage that support the Company’s overall needs.
  • Photography, as required for the requisite brands.
  • Act as a point of contact for all images and ensures that all assets are cleared for use, communicating restrictions on use of same. 

Vendor Relations:

  • Ensures that vendors, including but not limited to, printers and signage companies, maintain the Company’s standards for POP material, such as proper production, installation, and timely delivery of required design presentation.
  • Provides artwork for vendor’s products that compliment and conform to the SuperPharm brand as necessary. 

External Advertising:

  • Produces relevant artwork for placement in internal and external publications, as required by the relevant Marketing teams. 

Coordination of Marketing & Promotional Activities:

  • Assists the relevant Company personnel, including but not limited to the Marketing Officer/Manager, with the creation of the Company’s marketing calendar and sampling events calendar as required, including the establishment of appropriate timeframes and quarterly roll out plans.
  • Ensures that all related information is communicated to all relevant Company personnel and departments in a timely manner. 

Corporate Brand Management:

  • Coordinates the design and printing of Company branded items, including but not limited to bags; letterheads; call cards; brochures; stickers; medical forms; invoice books; purchase order books; receipt books; promotional gift cards; and advertising package.

Other:

  • Keeps abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs.
  • Coordinates all photography and editing of internal photography as required, including but not limited to marketing activities.
  • Coordinates efforts with marketing team to produce manuals, multi-media discs, print ads, online creative, student correspondences, catalogs, postcards, brochures, training materials, conference/symposium materials and other related materials.
  • Reviews the layout and content of manuals and workbooks for quality and accuracy before they are sent to print.
  • Ensure that projects are completed by the due date indicated on project requests and follows-up as needed.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned to ensure the efficient functioning of the Marketing Department.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in the production of plans, drawings and models.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Skills in photography.
  • Experience in Food & Beverage photography would be an asset.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Computer literate and intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Excel, Word and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Creative Tools.
  • Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and possess a vehicle in good working condition that he/she is willing to use in the execution of job responsibilities.
