General Manager (Pharmaceutical)

A company that distributes pharmaceutical products is seeking a results-driven and strategic General Manager. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in business growth, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute innovative business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Lead a cross-functional team including Sales, Operations, Warehouse, and Regulatory Affairs.
  • Ensure delivery of financial targets, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee supplier relationships, contract management, and inventory control.
  • Conduct market research to expand product portfolio and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate across departments to achieve company-wide goals and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Spend time in the field monitoring competitive activity and fostering trade and professional relationships.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (Master’s Degree is an asset).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience at a senior management level.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple business operations.
  • Strong background in budget management, negotiations, and strategic planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience preparing and delivering formal presentations.
