General Manager

ASSL Security Services seeks an experienced General Manager to lead a multi site security operation in Antigua, with full responsibility for strategy, operations, profitability, and service delivery within a regulated environment.

GENERAL MANAGER OPPORTUNITY

ASSL Security Services, a leading regional provider of private security services, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of General Manager, based in Antigua.

The role carries full accountability for the strategic, operational, and commercial performance of a multi site security operation. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership, drive profitability and growth, and ensure consistently high standards of service delivery within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership of the organisation
• Own and drive full profit and loss performance, budgets, and cost controls
• Oversee security operations, deployment, and service delivery across multiple sites
• Lead business development, pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and renewals
• Develop and retain management, supervisory, and operational teams
• Strengthen governance, risk management, and performance reporting
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, labour, licensing, and health & safety requirements
• Represent the company with clients, regulators, and key stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum); Master’s degree an asset
• 5 years’ senior management experience with direct P&L responsibility

• Technology savvy, with experience using systems and digital tools to manage operation
• Business development experience, including tenders, client acquisition, or market expansion, is a strong advantage

• Proven experience leading labour-intensive or multi-site operations
• Strong commercial, financial, and leadership capability
• Experience in security services, military or another regulated service industry preferred
• Valid driver’s license and passport with USA Visa.

While the immediate appointment is for Antigua & Barbuda, suitably qualified candidates may also be considered for General Manager roles in other countries as part of planned expansion.
