General Manager – Caribbean Operations

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and oversee business operations within the Caribbean region.

This role is responsible for driving strategic initiatives, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the overall performance and growth of the business. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with a strong background in the shipping, transport, or logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the organization
• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth targets
• Oversee daily operations, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
• Foster a positive and inclusive company culture
• Prepare and present reports on business performance and strategic initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role
• Industry experience in Shipping, Transport, or Logistics is strongly preferred
• Proven success in leading and growing a business
• Experience managing relationships with regulatory authorities
• Strong understanding of Caribbean market dynamics and business environment
• Fluency in English (Spanish or French is an asset)
• Must be eligible to work within the English-speaking Caribbean
