CRITERIA

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, ACA or CIMA) is a requirement.
• 3+ years of experience in financial or management accounting, preferably in the telecommunications industry or a finance-shared services environment.
• Audit background in a Big Four practice is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
• Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite) and revenue accounting software.

DUTIES

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS/GAAP/SOX and company policies.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, and investigate variances, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and support process improvements within the finance shared services function.
• Work closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other finance teams to ensure data integrity.
• Support the automation and optimization of financial processes within the shared services environment.
