The General Clerk will be responsible for handling daily collections, lodgments and cash reports.

GENERAL CLERK DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handling collection of company funds via all media
  • Custody of Cash and Cheques
  • Preparing Receipts & updating Customer Accounts
  • Daily funds balancing reports
  • Preparing deposits & Bank Lodgments
  • Physical dispatch of uploaded Cheque Lodgements
  • Assist with accounts payables Analysis and Recinciliation of accounts
  • Record Keeping
  • General Cashier duties

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma with 5 CXC Subjects including English & a numerate subject AND pursuing tertiary studies in Accounting
  • Previous Experience in Handling Cash and Cash Controls, a plus
  • Strong Attention to Details and Integrity
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Accounting Software
  • Previous experience with Quick Books, a plus
