JOB SUMMARY

The Innovation Lab is looking for both Junior and Senior Front-End Developers. The Software Developers will primarily support Agostini’s Innovation Lab in the continuous development of novel software solutions across our companies. Agostini’s has companies across the Caribbean region in three industries – Pharmaceutical & Healthcare, Manufacturing/Distribution for Consumer Products, and the Energy & Industrial sectors. You will be responsible for leveraging a technology stack to drive products’ market expansion based on user and key stakeholder insights. For this job you must be comfortable with ambiguity, self-leadership, working extended hours, chatting with customers, and collaborating with management to support the development of the right solution. 

You will work closely with the team at the Innovation Lab to apply design thinking methodologies to support the validation of the product’s business model and market expansion. PRINCIPAL DUTIES

 1.      Software Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications in accordance with project requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using appropriate technologies and coding standards.
• Collaborate with team members to review and improve code quality.

 2.    Analysis and Design:

• Analyse project requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to define software specifications.
• Contribute to the architectural design and technical documentation of software solutions.

 3.    Testing and Debugging:

• Conduct thorough testing of developed software to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
• Identify and debug issues, and provide timely resolutions.

 4.    Continuous Learning:

• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development.
• Share knowledge with the team and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

 5.    Documentation:

• Create and maintain technical documentation for software solutions, including code documentation, architecture diagrams, and user manuals.
