An analytical, organized leader with strong problem solving and communication skills is needed to fill the position of Front Desk Manager.

The Front Desk Manager is responsible for the efficient management of Front Desk and Bell Desk staff, including development of schedules, distribution of tasks and management of time off. This position also requires strong collaboration with Housekeeping and Maintenance to identify and implement preventive and corrective actions that will maintain excellence in the quality of service and guest experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define the strategy to ensure compliance with the KPIs established for Front Desk Area
  • Proactively make suggestions to the Room Division Manager to improve guest satisfaction. 
  • Coordinate the logistics of the main lobby, with the purpose of optimizing the operation between the areas and positions that interact with guests upon arrival and departure
  • Follow up on guest feedback with the aim of understanding areas of opportunity and their expectation
  • Maintain close communication with Guests by developing public relations that help position the hotel's image.
  • Determine and implement strategies to increase the sales of NPIs, especially service upgrades, room category upgrades.
  • Manage the budget and expenses allocated to the area, so that they are used for the satisfaction of guests.

 Desired Qualities and Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism or similar.
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a similar position
  • Proactive, organized with a passion for learning
  • Ability to work well under pressure
