To be the first level of contact for walk-in and over the phone customers, receive, posts and manage customer payments and accounts accordingly.

Front Desk Support

  • Delight customers daily in keeping Amplia Communication’s Customer Service Philosophy.
  • Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper etc.)
  • Pleasantly greets and welcomes all guests (customer, suppliers, vendors, etc.)
  • Answers questions and addresses complaints as neccessary.
  • Answers all incoming calls and redirects them or keep messages.
  • Receives letters, packages etc. and distributes them.
  • Prepares outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.
  • Checks, sorts and forward emails.

Credit & Collections Support

  • Operate finance posting software (posting all payments daily)
  • Complete cashier pre-shift supply checklist and handovers as required
  • Clarify customers queries or concerns about charges on bills and any other bill related issues
  • Assist with cases and queries on the CRM platform.
  • Assists with month end reports as directed by Team Lead or Manager.
  • Distributes cheques to suppliers, vendors, etc. at the front desk.
  • Handles receipt of cash, cheque, credit cards and direct billing requests properly.
  • Filing of documents.
  • Conducts and settles all daily transactions – linx, cash, cheques.
  • Complete all daily reports sent by the Installations and Repairs department in a timely manner. 

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 CXC Levels including Mathematics & English
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Customer Service or proven experience as front desk representative, agent or relevant position
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
  • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Industry experience.
