Jamaica's leading manufacturing & distribution company is seeking to hire a Fountain Manager. The Fountain Manager has responsibility for the effective management of the Fountain team and overall operations of all company-owned Fountain equipment which includes maintenance, repair, inventory, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and monitor a system that certifies the servicing of equipment parts once per month
- Mandate the sanitization of equipment parts once every quarter
- Make certain that filters are changed and dated as required
- Coach Technicians on new developments and technologies within the field
- Check that the general condition of equipment is up to standard
- Update ratio sheet with any new standards so that valves are assessed accordingly
- Monitor that Auditors submit a monthly report of all raw water, filtered water, ice, and drinks samples collected
- Execute refresher training courses for Technicians
- Monitor that all Technicians train customers in the use and care of the equipment
- Approve the upgrade and new equipment installation of accounts where necessary
JOB SPECIFICATION/COMPETENCIES
- 1st Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field and at least four (4) years’ experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal and the ability to communicate with varying levels within the organization
- Strong leadership, organization, analytical and time-management skills
- Certification in Supervisory Management required
- Working knowledge of MS Office productivity tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Dispensing Equipment, Refrigeration and excellence in assessing and installing equipment
- Sound knowledge of electrical, mechanical and plumbing maintenance
- Sound knowledge of Project Management best practices and the Quick Serve Restaurant Business
