Forklift Operator

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials.

ARC Manufacturing Limited, one of Jamaica’s leading manufacturers and distributors of building materials, is inviting applications from qualified individuals to fill the following position of Forklift Operator for its Mandeville Distribution Hub:

 General Responsibilities:

• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned areas
• Locate and move stock to pallets for storage or shipment.
• Identify damages and report any shortages or quality issues.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and activity logs.
• Help ensure a safe and orderly environment within the facility.

 Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• Grade 9 education or high school diploma.
• Minimum of one (1) year proven experience as a forklift operator.
• Strong attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
