Food Production Planner

As a Food Production Planner, you will play a critical role in coordinating and optimizing daily and weekly food production activities. You will work closely with our culinary, and procurement teams to ensure schedules are met, resources are well-utilized, and quality standards are maintained.

GCG Group Jamaica is a member of the GCG Group which operates in 21 countries across the US, Caribbean, Central and South America. We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join the team in the capacity of Consumption Analyst for our Kingston operations.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

• Analyze production data and forecasts to optimize material, labor, and equipment use.

• Ensure timely availability of raw materials through close coordination with procurement.

• Monitor production to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

• Collaborate with the kitchen teams to meet delivery timelines.

• Maintain accurate production documentation and performance tracking.

ACADEMIC & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• A technical degree in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or Logistics.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in large-scale food production.
• SAP or ERP experience is a plus (MTI/PTP modules preferred).
• Strong understanding of technical recipes and production standards.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and planning skills
