Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager

 

The Food & Beverage Assistant Manager at Royalton Grenada is responsible for supporting the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all food and beverage outlets. The role involves supervising staff, managing guest interactions, and ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the department.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing daily food and beverage operations across all outlets.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, health, and safety regulations.
  • Support the training and development of team members.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain stock levels.
  • Support the implementation of promotions and new menu items.
  • Assist in managing budgets, costs, and revenue targets.
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all food and beverage outlets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Uphold the hotel’s standards and brand image at all times.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Financial acumen related to budgeting and cost control.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in food and beverage management.
