A manufacturing company is seeking a highly competent and strategic Financial Manager/Financial Controller to lead our finance function and support the company’s continued growth. The ideal candidate must be disciplined, analytical and capable of strengthening financial governance, driving efficiency and supporting long-term strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management, Accounting & Reporting
• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including receivables, payables and general ledger functions
• Supervise, mentor and develop the accounting team
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and lead the annual audit process
• Manage and monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity
• Develop and oversee budgeting and forecasting processes aligned with strategic objectives
• Implement and maintain cost-control systems to improve operational efficiency and profitability
• Establish, strengthen and enforce internal controls, ensuring accuracy, compliance and accountability
• Ensure all financial activities comply with accounting standards, tax laws and relevant regulatory requirements
• Communicate financial insights clearly to management, board, stakeholders and external parties
• Develop long-term financial strategies that support business growth and sustainability
• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate profitability, cash flow and operational efficiency
• Oversee tax planning and ensure timely and accurate statutory filings
• Manage the finance department’s systems, ERP tools and financial software
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks
• Provide guidance on investments, financing options and capital structure
• Lead negotiations with financial institutions to secure financing aligned with company needs

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA is an asset)
• Proven capability in senior accounting or financial management functions, including oversight,    reporting and strategic financial support.
• Experience in manufacturing or project-based environments is an advantage
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with accounting systems and ERP software
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly
