A strategic Financial Controller role for a visionary leader to shape JESS’ financial future - driving enterprise strategy, leading FP&A, and strengthening governance across accounting, procurement, treasury, and tax with high visibility to U.S. Global Business Services leadership.
Financial Controller
A senior leadership role shaping the financial strategy and enterprise performance of KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS).
What you will do:
• Set and execute the financial strategy for JESS, guiding long‑term sustainability and enterprise readiness.
• Serve as the financial architect for Jamaica operations, advising senior leadership locally and across U.S. GBS.
• Lead end‑to‑end Financial Planning & Analysis, ensuring forecasting, modeling, and reporting drive strategic decision‑making.
• Oversee multi‑function financial operations including accounting, payroll, procurement, cash, treasury, and tax optimization.
• Strengthen governance through robust controls, compliance oversight, and enterprise‑level financial policies.
• Mentor and elevate a high‑performing finance team, building future leadership capability.
• Present financial insights with clarity and influence to C‑suite and executive stakeholders.
What you will bring:
• Postgraduate Finance/Accounting degree OR Bachelor’s + ACCA/CPA.
• 8+ years’ financial leadership experience, ideally in shared services, BPO, professional services, or complex operations.
• Demonstrated impact in strategic financial planning, transformation, and executive partnership.
• Strong analytical judgment and communication skills; confident influencing senior leaders.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Jamaican regulations.
