Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure the month-end close process is completed according to the Group Reporting schedule.
Investigate and analyze variances from budgets and prior year actuals.
Monitor costs, recommend process improvements, and implement effective cost controls.
Plan and prepare annual budgets within established deadlines.
Establish and maintain financial work standards, procedures, and internal controls.
Review and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Maintain an accurate Fixed Asset register and oversee asset transfers and disposals.
Ensure adherence to Capital Expenditure policies and procedures.
Verify that insurance coverage adequately meets organizational needs.
Ensure sales and statistical reports are accurate and submitted on time.
Prepare, analyze, and distribute Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Work with business units to prevent operational downtime and ensure alignment with service level agreements (SLAs).
Lead, plan, and execute activities related to the company’s annual statutory audit.
Serve as the primary liaison with external and internal auditors.
Analyze and reconcile key General Ledger accounts.
Provide analytical and technical support to Shared Services and assist with reporting queries.
Coach, mentor, and motivate team members while fostering professional development.
Evaluate team members and set performance goals for growth.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Adhere to company policies, including Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental guidelines.
Perform any other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
ACCA or equivalent qualification
At least Five (5) years’ work experience in finance role
Suitable supervisor experience

High degree of planning, organizational, analytical, and financial skills.
Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, audience-appropriate messages.
Computer Literate – Working knowledge of MS Office and a computerized financial application.
