Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Transformation Lead to join our life insurance business during a critical period of change. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead end-to-end transformation initiatives that will modernise and enhance the effectiveness, scalability, and compliance of our Finance function.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial operations, systems implementation, process improvement, and change leadership within the insurance or broader financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead IFRS 17 process optimisation, identifying and implementing improvements in data flows, calculations, controls, and reporting to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
• Redesign and revise financial reporting processes to reflect the organisation's evolving business model, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and commercial goals.
• Support the development and implementation of the company's strategic plan, providing financial insights, scenario modelling, and alignment of finance initiatives to business strategy.
  • Drive end-to-end finance transformation initiatives across processes, systems, data, and governance.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders in Actuarial, IT, and the wider business to deliver integrated and sustainable solutions.
    • Oversee the implementation and enhancement of finance systems (e.g. planning and forecasting tools).
    • Promote automation and standardisation to reduce manual effort and enhance reporting capabilities.
      • Develop and track KPls to measure transformation outcomes and ensure benefits realisation.
