Our Finance Team (not client facing) is currently recruiting for a Portfolio Finance Advisor (PFA). While the position is based in our Trinidad office, it is a member of a high-performing and mixed rank PFA team led by the Service Line PFA Lead Associate Director. The PFA will work independently and virtually as part of a wider team, using tools and technology to stay connected and be accountable for upskilling their knowledge. The PFA will be part of an extended global PFA network, focused on improving margin performance and are at the forefront of finance and business policies, tools and best practices to effectively support Client Servers (CS). The PFA will provide advice to Partners, Executive Directors and their teams aimed at optimizing margin at a pursuit, engagement or portfolio level. A successful PFA will demonstrate and leverage financial, commercial and consulting skills. Key Responsibilities: - Provides advice tailored to the CS needs aimed at optimizing margin and financial management at a pursuit, engagement and portfolio levels where these are complex in nature and material
- Demonstrates deep knowledge of financial tools, strategies, and policies which they can articulate both content and context appropriate for the audience to help CS navigate and deliver work successfully to our clients
- Shares forward-looking margin and business insights gained from working closely with CS and other PFAs to ensure leadership are equipped with the knowledge to drive better business decisions
- Team effectively with the PFA Assistant Director and other PFA aligned to the Service Line
- Supports ad hoc projects and initiatives led by the PFA Assistant Director
- Shares knowledge and experiences across the team to strengthen skills and improve advice to CS
- Contributes to capturing and shaping best practices, processes and improved solutions
- Identifies and socializes trends and challenges faced by CS enabling Finance to react in an effective manner
- Stays current with the firm’s policies, processes and tools
- Maintains connection with the business and their key stakeholders
- Consumes and distills complex financial knowledge and policy awareness into advice which is tailored to meet CS needs
- Applies judgement in order to establish root causes which results in recommendations which help CS establish priorities that, optimize margin and improve financial management
- Able to analyze extensive data and reporting to pinpoint where their advice will have greatest impact

Requirements - Completed a professional accounting designation such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or completed a Bachelor’s degree in a Finance/ Business related field and currently pursuing a professional accounting designation. A Master’s degree would be considered an asset
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience
- In depth understanding of the financial and commercial drivers of portfolio performance
- In depth understanding the value of proactive financial advice early in the pursuit stage and throughout the lifecycle of the engagement
- Ability to absorb and advocate guidelines and policies to key stakeholders
- Awareness of the challenges faced by our CS in managing their accounts and engagements
