Finance Manager (St. Lucia)

The Finance Manager will lead the Finance and Accounting function, providing accurate financial insights and strategic advice to drive business performance. This role will ensure strong financial control, compliance, and operational effectiveness in alignment with company objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead monthly and year-end financial close processes
• Prepare budgets, cashflows, forecasts and management accounts
• Oversee accounts payable, payroll and compliance with internal controls
• Be a key player in preparing and managing year-end audit process.
• Manage the implementation of recommendations made by external and internal auditors and as agreed by management.
• Perform reviews to guarantee accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance to statutory and contractual obligations.
• Maintain strong focus on internal control by recommending improvements as necessary, as well as monitoring compliance with company policies.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Finance team.
• Provide strategic financial advice to management by studying operational issues; applying financial principles and practices; developing recommendations.
• Prepare ad-hoc accounting and finance projects.
• Analyse financial trends and reports on costs, variances, productivity, margins and company expenditures.

QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and/or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA)
• At least FIVE (5) years’ experience in a similar senior finance role.

• Strong business acumen, leadership skills, and commercial awareness
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
