We’re seeking a hands-on Finance Associate to join our dynamic team and play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our exciting developments.

Role Overview:

This role is responsible for supporting the company’s accounting operations, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general journal entries.

 

Main Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile creditor accounts (with support from the Accounts Assistant), including payments to COD suppliers, monitoring credit limits, and timely payments to local and overseas suppliers.
  • Process and reconcile debtor accounts (with support from the Accounts Assistant), including issuing customer invoices and timely follow-up on payments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of intercompany entries.
  • Post revenue and expenses to the general ledger daily or as received.
  • Reconcile petty cash (with support from the Purchasing Team).
  • Assist in the accurate booking of Work in Progress (WIP).
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Maintain organized filing of relevant documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance/accounting, preferably in construction or hospitality.
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, and results-driven.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Work Ethic: Ability to independently prioritize tasks, work efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
