Role Overview:
This role is responsible for supporting the company’s accounting operations, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general journal entries.
Main Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile creditor accounts (with support from the Accounts Assistant), including payments to COD suppliers, monitoring credit limits, and timely payments to local and overseas suppliers.
- Process and reconcile debtor accounts (with support from the Accounts Assistant), including issuing customer invoices and timely follow-up on payments.
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of intercompany entries.
- Post revenue and expenses to the general ledger daily or as received.
- Reconcile petty cash (with support from the Purchasing Team).
- Assist in the accurate booking of Work in Progress (WIP).
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Maintain organized filing of relevant documents.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance/accounting, preferably in construction or hospitality.

- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Work Ethic: Ability to independently prioritize tasks, work efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
