Reporting to the Planning and Budgeting Manager, the Finance Analyst will play a supporting role to the Planning & Budget Manager in various accounting, financial planning, financial reporting and budget functions.

Finance Analyst

Major Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual board reports, including financial and business performance analysis.
    • Conduct cost centre budget reviews, prepare monthly variance reports, and monitor CAPEX and variable expenses.
    • Provide financial evaluations, analytical reviews, and develop financial models to support decision-making.
  • Planning & Forecasting
    • Support strategic financial planning activities, including the 3–5 Year Strategic Action Plan, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Latest Estimates.
    • Track cost drivers, identify deviations, and provide insights to support proactive management of resources.
  • Data Governance & Financial Operations
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, journal entries, intercompany charges, and master data updates.
    • Review and validate master data in SAP (e.g., pricing, customer, supplier) and support the creation of cost centers, budget transfers, and savings initiatives.
    • Prepare balance sheet schedules as per GLOM and finance KPIs report monthly.

Academic qualifications and experience required for the job:

  • CIMA, ACCA level II, BSc. Degree in Accounting
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar role
  • Highly Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, in a team and across the organization in a business partner environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines, enforce deadlines 
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all numbers are fully reconciled and fully aligned.
