The Administrative Accounting professional will be a key player in the execution of admin support to our Finance Accounting team

KPMG in Caricom is seeking to hire a talented, highly motivated, and experienced Finance Accountant to join our Finance & Administration Department in our office.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing monthly operations cost reports
- Preparing monthly cost analysis and explanations for variances
- Assist in budget and forecast preparation
- Entering journals in Sage
- Entering bank transactions in Sage
- Preparing bank recons using Sage
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Maintaining prepayments and other audit schedules
- Assist with providing support for audit queries during audit process
- Occasionally cover payables desk (during vacation of payables person)
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years experience in an accounting role
- Experience using SAGE/ACCPAC software in a professional role
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Required to work beyond normal working hours, when necessary
- Exposure to confidential information
- High level of integrity and confidentiality is required
- Required to work to set deadlines
- Expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal, report writing and communication skills
- Flexible and willing to travel
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to adapt to a multi-cultural experience
