Field Collector

North Beech Ltd., a leading newspaper printing and distribution company, is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Field Collectors to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting payments from vendors, contractors, and subscription clients within assigned zones (Kingston, Protland or St. Elizabeth), maintaining accurate records, and representing the company professionally while working in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily field visits to collect payments from assigned vendors, contractors, and clients.

  • Issue official receipts and accurately reconcile all monies collected.

  • Report delinquent accounts and provide timely feedback to the Receivables Supervisor.

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and contractors.

  • Ensure secure handling of collections and adherence to company security protocols.

  • Deliver invoices, notices, and statements as required.

  • Maintain accurate records and submit daily collection reports.

  • Safeguard company funds during transit and support the resolution of account discrepancies.

  • Uphold company values and customer service standards at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (minimum); additional training in accounting, finance, or business administration is an asset.

  • At least 1–2 years’ experience in collections, sales, customer service, or field operations.

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable motor vehicle or motorbike.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle cash responsibly and reconcile records accurately.

  • Knowledge of local routes and assigned geographic areas.

  • Basic computer literacy, including Excel, Word, and electronic reporting tools.
