The Factory Engineering Manager will lead technical operations to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards while enhancing product quality and operational performance.

Position: Factory Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and technical leadership within the factory, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Align engineering activities with business objectives to enhance product quality and operational performance.
  • Make informed decisions regarding factory assets, including investment cycles, in alignment with the overall business strategy.
  • Monitor capital investments, ensuring proper justification, requests, implementation, startup, and reporting in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Facilitate high-performance operations by assessing and implementing maintenance strategies that support operational excellence.
  • Improve fixed assets and manage asset life cycles effectively.
  • Ensure that production utilities are optimized and compliant with food safety standards.
  • Oversee electrical services, automation levels, and manufacturing execution systems at the factory level to meet business needs.
  • Drive sustainable operations through the implementation of energy and water management practices and corresponding reporting systems.
  • Lead initiatives for innovation and improvement, coordinating the implementation of new processes and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (B.Sc).
  • Professional Qualifications: Additional qualifications in Business Management or Administration are preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
    • Experience in building and managing investment budgets.
    • Participation in the startup of technical equipment and/or production lines.
