Facilities Technician

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Performs scheduled and unscheduled preventative or routine maintenance tasks at the Freeport Campus including but not limited to roof maintenance, structural maintenance, pressure washing, painting, equipment cleaning etc.
• Assists in the general ground maintenance of the Freeport Campus
• Performs minor repairs within and around any of the facilities at the Freeport Campus as required.
• Assists in the relocation of or removal of furniture, equipment, files, and property fixed assets as directed.
• Conducts routine inspection of the Freeport Campus facilities as well as immediate surroundings and reports any areas of concern to the Facilities Supervisor or Manager
• Liaises with external contractors retained by the Unit and provides support as necessary to ensure the satisfactory completion of allocated tasks
• Secures all materials, equipment, tools, property fixed assets in designated areas
• Assists the Maintenance Technicians at other Redstart/Unicomer Trinidad Limited locations when required
• Performs any other duties related to the job function as may be assigned by the Facilities Supervisor or Manager
