Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and disciplined Facilities Support Security Officer to support the day-to-day operation, safety, and security of our premises. This role is essential to maintaining a secure and well-managed environment, with responsibility for controlling access, monitoring activity, and supporting general facilities operations.

The Facilities Support Security Officer serves as the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and delivery personnel. As such, the successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, courtesy, alertness, and sound judgment at all times.

This role requires excellent customer service skills, a welcoming approach, and the ability to manage frequent interactions while maintaining strict security standards.

Key Responsibilities

-             Report for duty promptly at 7:00 a.m. and maintain a visible and alert presence

-            Monitor and control access to ensure that only authorized staff and visitors conducting legitimate business are permitted entry

-            Receive and assist visitors, couriers, and delivery personnel, ensuring proper identification and authorization

-            Assist with the movement of furniture, equipment, and supplies as required

-            Provide support for general office organization and facilities-related activities in coordination with the Facilities and Logistics Manager

-            Wash and maintain the company vehicle on a weekly basis Secure all entry points, including doors, gates, and windows, at the end of each workday

 

Candidate Profile

-            Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or other customer-facing roles is strongly preferred

-            Experience in security, facilities support, or property management would be an asset

-             Professional, courteous, and well-presented, with strong interpersonal skills

-            High level of attentiveness and attention to detail

-            Ability to follow and enforce procedures consistently and respectfully

-            Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision

-            Physically capable of carrying out light manual duties (e.g., moving boxes or equipment)

-            High level of integrity, honesty, and responsibility, particularly in relation to security matters

-            References are required
