The incumbent is responsible for implementing company policies, perform daily sanitation inspections, and oversee the duties of the facilities/sanitation team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinating and monitoring cleaning schedules.
Creating and distributing work schedules for the sanitation workers.
Responsible for completion and submission of facilities monthly report
Management of facilities the budget
Maintains safe and clean work environment
Drafts and conducts performance appraisals on subordinate staff
Creates and revises systems and procedures by analysing
Maintains a high degree of visibility and access to supervisory staff and management throughout the workday; by being on call for spills and emergency works
Updating and monitoring of facilities overtime
Working with external contractors on infrastructural items
Perform administrative functions such as developing and maintaining department databases, google sheets, preparation and distribution of routine production reports as well as development of checklists for all areas of the plant
Prepare meeting minutes, time sheets, draft and distribute disciplinary letters, memorandums, purchase requisitions and payment vouchers when required.
Monitor and record wate by updating and monitoring Items for Disposition logs
Attends meetings as required such as Weekly Production, Overtime, Internal Quality etc
Responsible for training of workers in Facilities department
Developing Standard Operating Procedures for Facilities Department
Developing a schedule and monitoring of all infrastructural works
Developing a schedule and monitoring of all painting works
Assist with all tasks necessary for audits that relate to Quality and HSE
Performing daily inspections of the manufacturing facility and reporting any irregularities in terms of sanitation
Implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.
Providing feedback to CHRO on facilities
Monitoring the ordering, preparation and use of cleaning chemicals.
Coordinating the services of contractors and external cleaning crews.
Requestioning the replacement of tools equipment and chemicals for the department
Liaise with the HSE Supervisor on HSE issues
Conforms to all established departmental & company policies, procedures & objectives, fulfils the requirements of CGA Ltd.’s SQF Program including but not limited to GMPs, PPE, HACCP, food safety & HSE site protocols.
Monitor the waste disposal process as it relates to CGA Ltd
Assist with the timesheets for weekly paid workers in the department
