JOB PURPOSE: Maintain HGS buildings and property in a safe and professional manner. To provide guidance and supervision to Facility Services personal so they can perform with maximum efficiency.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Supervisors and coordinates the work of facility service employees. Communicate daily with Facility Services employees and extend positive attitude.
    1. Provides coaching and direction, evaluates performance and administers pay in accordance with company standards.
    2. Maintaining documentation, procedures and policy so as to ensure that internal and external standards (including ISO/ SAC) are met.
    3. Prioritize Service Requests from HGS personnel and coordinate daily work assignments for Facility Services personnel.
    4. Lead cross-functional teams (Architectural, Electrical/ Data/ Cooling Solutions, and Construction), in designing and implementing buildings solutions in line with client specifications.
    5. Lead on administrative functions such as office supply/ equipment replenishment, filing system coherency and maintenance, mail sorting/ directing transport arrangements, and client travel schedules.
    6. Ensures staff uses appropriate safety precautions when working on projects around others.
    7. Lead on measures to prevent to solve health hazards & meet legislative requirements.
    8. Maintains an up to date list of emergency contacts with power, water and phone companies for management to use in the event of a disaster.
  2. Spearheads both sites and on-site contractors/ vendor management (including Genset, HVAC systems, UPS and more).
  3. Maintains all security systems in HGS buildings to ensure the safety and security of employees and equipment.
  4. Oversees ongoing maintenance contracts with outside vendors to ensure vendors are fulfilling contractual agreement.
  5. Manage related facilities expenses (both operational and capital expenses). Ensure lean and efficient cost structures.
  6. Provides on call after hour’s support to the organization in the event of an emergency.
  7. Completes special projects assigned by Vice President.
  8. Lead on administrative functions such as office supply/ equipment replenishment, filing system coherency and maintenance, mail sorting/ directing transport arrangements, and client travel schedules.

 

Procurement

  1. Ensure lean procurement. Manage the negotiations of contracts.
  2. Manage contractual relationships and ensure deliverables are met.
