Facilities Coordinator

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and coordination of all facility-related management activities across the Distribution Center (DC). This includes ensuring that all company infrastructure is safe, operational, and compliant with regulatory standards. The role supports the seamless operation of the DC by managing the upkeep of the building, grounds, and utilities an optimal working condition to support operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day distribution centre (DC) facilities operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and fully functional environment.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and minor facility improvement projects within budget and timelines.
• Oversee external service providers, including janitorial, landscaping, pest control, waste management, and utilities.
• Support safety and compliance initiatives through safety walks, audits, incident investigations, and emergency preparedness.
• Manage work orders, service logs, vendor records, inventories, and maintenance documentation.
• Prepare facilities and safety reports, support budget planning, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Occupational Safety, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or a similar operational role, preferably within a warehouse, distribution centre, or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and general civil works.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Must be able to travel between Savanna La Mar, Hanover and Montego Bay
• Must own/operate a reliable motor vehicle
